Scope

Evidence suggests that traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a risk factor for dementia. We are conducting a pilot trial investigating mobile cognitive training in older Veterans with a lifetime history of TBI

What we did

Older Veterans (60-75 years old) with past TBI will be randomly assigned to play one of two mobile games (EVO multitask video game or EVO words video game) for 4 weeks or to an assessment-only condition and will complete assessments visits including neuropsychological measures.
